R100 BATON IS NOW AVAILABLE

It will be a different year in 2021 but the Coronavirus will not prevent us celebrating 100 Years of Rotary in Australasia.  This baton will represent Rotary Australasia's resilience and mission to continue to make a difference in our world.

Linda and Mark Humphries are to be applauded for this fantastic initiative that has great potential to raise awareness, engage members, provide a focus on what Rotary achieves and publicise Rotary far and wide.

They are a beautifully handcrafted commemorative Batons that represents 100 years of Rotary service in Australia and New Zealand

 

Baton 1:

Similar to one presented in Christchurch.

  • This baton has been slightly modified to be lighter by reducing the weight in the wooden panel.
  • A detachable and a stylish metal base added so it can stand upright on display can also be purchased (optional purchase)
  • It was decided that if would be too difficult to have logos for all the countries involved in our Districts, so the southern cross and silver fern have been removed.

 

Baton 2:

Very different to the baton that was shown in Christchurch. 

  • A smaller lighter thick white acrylic approx. 280mm in height
  • With the same design but printed.
  • Ideal for fun run, children, long distance carry type events.

 

Both batons and the base are being sold at cost price including GST & postage as quoted from the design manufacturer. Please order as soon as possible to help this small manufacturer plan out his business.

 

You are the leaders going forward into a very different Rotary year. It will be challenging and not like any other in the 100 year history of Rotary in Australia. Our Baton will be held up high showing the way forward and celebrating Rotarians as people of action.
