District is holding a Special awards event on Saturday 6th June at 5 pm on the Zoom platform. 

1. The inaugural D9800 Bob Fels Peace award
2. A Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service
3. A Rotary Service Above Self award

This special event is to recognise 3 special individuals who are receiving significant awards from District and Rotary International. These awards were to be presented at the District conference in March with incoming Zone Director Jessie Harman attending to support the presentations.

The terrific news for Rotary Melbourne is the committee felt it was appropriate and deserving to recognise Bob Fels as the inaugural recipient of the Peace award named in his honour.
