Scalzo Foods may be one of Australia’s largest privately-owned food companies, but it’s focus on family values is something that sets the company apart.
As head of the company’s social impact arm, Cathy Scalzo (Quin's daughter) has effectively guided the development of means to provide support for homelessness, food security and helping young people reach their full potential.
The following is an email from Selba Gondoza Luka. It says it all!
Hi Quin,
On behalf of the African Australian families that Afri-Aus Care care for, I would like to express my gratitude for the food items which were donated to us last Thursday. The food is appropriate for the needs our community members.
We have made food parcel distribution to 25 families and they were distributed on Saturday so far, and more will be delivered to day. The people are very happy and I have been asked to ask you if it would be possible when COVID - 19 restrictions are over, if you could come and meet the women at the Center, they would like to express their gratitude in person.
I will send short Videos on WhatsApp, the ones we took last Saturday when some of the women came to get the food parcels
Thank you once again for your continued supporting for the African Australians in South East.
Kind Regards,
Selba Gondoza Luka
