ARE YOU A DOCTOR or ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Are you a doctor or an allied health professional?

I write to invite you to join the Fellowship of Rotarian Doctors and Allied Health Professionals (if you are not already a member!) We're the natural home of all health professionals in Rotary and like minded professionals beyond Rotary.

It is more important now than ever before that we remain connected. Read more: rotariandoctors.mastermed.hr

Covid-19 has changed everything. The future looks uncertain and challenging. Thankfully, many Rotary clubs are adapting and continuing to do good in the world. To Rotarian doctors and health care workers, this is a particularly difficult time. Many are on the front line and are caring for patients - sometimes at considerable personal risk.

As Chairman of the International Fellowship of Rotarian Doctors and Health Professionals I take pride in learning about the dedication and commitment of many of our members. I also know that they value the communications and support from colleagues through this Fellowship’s network.

RI has published a blog about our recent activities and has agreed to publish personal reflections from some of our members soon.

The Fellowship has been active in staying connected with our members. The best we can do at these difficult times is to affirm that we are a family.

We would love to see you joining us so that we can increase our impact within Rotary and beyond. If you know of anyone (Rotarians and non-Rotarians) who share our vision please encourage them also to join us.

Our next scheduled virtual 'round table discussion' will be on Saturday 11 July when Professor Dr John Strassswimmer will talk about dermatological signs of Covid 19.

If you would like to join us please let me know. If there is a topic you would like consider for future discussions I'll be pleased to hear from you.

Dr John Philip
