Instead of joining the mass public event with riders, route marshals and SAG drivers we will still be achieving our main purpose of support to the disadvantaged children (this disadvantage has been even greater during the school remote learning in many cases).
What Are We Planning?
- Our project this year starts with the raffle for a $2,000 bike voucher, online instead of in paper books of tickets. You can enter through this link to Try Booking https://www.trybooking.com/BKQGZ . Please buy tickets for your children, grandchildren, colleagues, friends and of course yourselves.
- We are in discussions about how we can actually conduct our own Rotary ride within the limits of social isolation allowed by authorities - more on that later! Hopefully this will allow Members to support our intrepid riders once again?
- We are working on how to conduct an online auction.
- We have the CEO of The Smith Family, Dr Lisa O’Brien, speak to us about the recent challenges for Learning for Life.
Around the Bay will go on in this different shape!
