Renata Bernarde, Chair of meeting said: Liz told us that there are many Australians heading for the coast and country amid the COVID outbreak, and that there are over 40,000 well-paid positions on offer in regional centres.
The opportunities in regional Australia are rich and varied, and government, organisations, Australians and migrants are now taking the bush seriously as the place to be.
It was a pleasure to hear stories from Liz's childhood growing up in Deniliquin, and how she helped create the town's famous festival, the Ute Muster."
Thanks Renata for organising another excellent evening meeting for us.
