"Dear Friends,
We have been thinking of you this morning in Sailly Le Sec during the commemorations of Remembrance Day at the 3rd Division Australian Memorial. No crowd, due to lockdown, just 6 members of the village council to sing your national anthem and lay some flowers to pay tribute to your soldiers who prerished to defend us during the Great War.
As you can see with the postcard here attached, that my club edited after organizing a big commemoration in Villers-Bretonneux for the Centenary of the Great War with 720 people, We Do Not Forget Australia, we are so grateful …
