There are approximately 450 million smallholder farmers – one-third of the world’s population – that are living in poverty. Business for Development works in the Asia Pacific, Africa and Australia building value chains to solve rural poverty in emerging countries. Their work strives to improve farmer livelihoods, resilience and financial independence.
