“Toorak 1 had our first in-person social event in over 12 months. Our Group Captain Mary Barry was the guest speaker and had the whole group enthralled for hours with extraordinary stories about her life growing up in Ireland, travelling the world with Philip, rising up to become a CEO, pulling an emergency parachute or two and enjoying several moments of ‘fame’.
We reckon Mary has all the ingredients for a cracking book. Such a treat for all who attended. Thanks also to Chris and Janet Wang for the wonderful hospitality.”
