LAST BULLETIN FOR THIS EDITOR

I would like to thank you all, with very special  appreciation to:

  • Photography Team, led by Ian Ross
  • Jo for her weekly data
  • Robert Fisher who was my most loyal provider of updates all written beautifully with photos
  • Sharann Johnson who asked for me to fill the role of Editor 5 months after being inducted, and has been a number one supporter
  • Ari Talantis (we support each other beautifully and with a sense of humour. Ari has been terrific to work alongside in Communications)
  • Many Members who respected the amount of time it took to gather items relevant to Rotary Melbourne and sent me updates, especially the past three years
  • International Rotarians who subscribe to our Bulletin and have emailed their appreciation
  • Past Streamscape owner Ron Stark, and now Stephen Lake, who have made themselves available on a Saturday/Sunday to any IT issues which could delay publishing.

Your support has been so appreciated by me.

The readership of the Bulletin has increased dramatically during the past five years. My "secret button" which I think, might have become a "terror" for Members, has seen readership increase to an average of 85% of our Members taking the time to open and scan the Bulletin.

The Rotary Melbourne Monthly Newsletter I first created in 2020, is sent to a database of 3,000 (web inquiries and meeting guests).  This has also seen an increase in readers and is a terrific way to showcase our Club, our Projects and our People.

My Bulletin Dropbox now contains many hundreds of photos from 2016 filed in folders and years which will provide materials for our next 100 year Centenary.

It is time for another chapter in our Bulletin.  I wish whoever accepts the challenge to enjoy and know that this solitary commitment to Rotary is important for fellowship, whilst ensuring all Members are up to date and aware of events, projects, people, awards.

Onwards and Upwards!
