Born and raised in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Cameron initially embarked on a career in primary education before accepting a role in the non-profit sector as a volunteer management professional. Although no longer actively involved, Cameron’s volunteer experience includes senior positions with Scouts Victoria where his responsibilities included major event leadership positions, overseas deployments and ultimately appointment as Victoria’s first State Commissioner for Young Leader Development.

Today, Cameron’s voluntary focus rests with the Fundraising Institute of Australia where he is a member of the National Fundraising Awards Committee; a role that sees him acting as a senior judge for the annual fundraising excellence awards.
Cameron is married to his wife Rebecca who is also actively involved in the non-profit sector where she is the Senior Director – Global Finance Solutions for World Vision International. Together, they have a nearly four-year old son, Sebastian. They live in Upwey, the lower part of Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges.
The Rotary Club of Melbourne is Cameron’s first formal involvement with Rotary, although he is a regular speaker at clubs across Australia and New Zealand in his professional capacity and in prior voluntary positions.
