Sana was inducted on 23rd June 2021 with the classification Law - Insurance and is a member of the Hawthorn Kew group.
A law and arts graduate from Monash University, Sana has found her niche in all things insurance. Sana currently works in the not for profit space, whether it is policy and indemnity advice, or tackling a complex dispute.
During her time at university, Sana headed various social committees. She was a proud member of the Equity & Diversity Committee, where she voiced helped voice the needs and concerns of Monash students from underrepresented backgrounds. Her most memorable time at law school was volunteering with local prisons and educating remanded persons of the legal process.
Sana came across Rotary Melbourne when she attended a presentation by the Victorian Multicultural Commissioner, Vivienne Nguyen. During the COVID - 19 pandemic, Sana has relished in joining Rotary Melbourne’s lunchtime weekly meetings, getting to know the club culture and its members, and hearing speakers from all walks of life. Sana also participated in various Rotary events via Zoom prior to becoming a member, including the Paul Harris Breakfast and the Great Rotary Debate.
Outside of Rotary, health and wellness are a priority to Sana, and in her personal time, she enjoys Pilates, nature walks and reading.
Sana was admitted to practice as a solicitor and is an officer of the Supreme Court. As well, she is a member of the Hawthorn Kew Group. She is looking forward to getting to know the various committees Rotary has to offer and serving the community.
