The Around the Bay committee of Rotary Melbourne is looking to raise at least $25,000 for The Smith Family ’Learning for Life’ program again this year. This remains a very important part of the club’s Service above Self focus. Over the past 18 months, children from disadvantaged schools have suffered even more than normal with their parents’ loss of income whilst they have had to home-school, very often without access to electronic devices available to their peers.
Hopefully the Around the Bay event will be on this year but to kick start our fund raising a raffle for a $2,000 bike voucher has now commenced.

The winner can use the voucher to select one bike, multiple bikes for the family or even bike accessories! This prize is ideal for the active adult, a young family or for grandparents looking for Christmas gifts. The history of our raffle is that buyers take multiple tickets for the friends and colleagues and their broader family. The winning ticket will be drawn on September 1st and the prize collected at your leisure.
