With the pull out of Afganistan highlighting our armed services it is timely to note Legacy week. This week is Legacy week, a week when normally, ex-servicemen and women would be out in force selling Legacy badges, teddy bears and other items to raise funds. Obviously that can’t happen this year, so they are thinking “outside the box”.
One of their “outside the box ideas” is a partnership with Taylor Made Gourmet who send picnic and hamper boxes across the State. Members may be interested to order a picnic to support Legacy and enjoy a special lunch during the special meeting next week with writer Gideon Haig. Or if you know someone, of the thousands in quarantine, perhaps a nice reminder that they are supported?
