Mary took us through many helpful ideas we can apply in our daily lives which can assist us to be healthier, less anxious and more relaxed and more productive while enjoying better relationships with others.

We learned the US Navy Seals Box Breathing Exercise which is a proven way to reduce anxiety and stress and sharpen our mental focus.

We learned that there are often multiple ways to interpret events and situations.  Some perceptions are more positive than others.  If we focus on the cause, we are more likely to see problems as opportunities that promote growth.  If we choose to focus on perceived negative effects, we are likely to inhibit our happiness and growth.
