Rotarians know that COVID has created ongoing challenges for individuals, organisations, communities … and the way we think about the world.  Obvious impacts include the accelerated use of digital technology, shifting life and work preferences, as well as highlighting challenges experienced by specific population groups in our communities.   

As people of action, Rotarians seek to understand emerging issues:  locally, nationally and globally.  We seek to envision a better future and then plan high impact projects that help bring that future to reality.

Join us for a lively discussion of what does the world need from Rotary now? 

President Elect Bev Brock, President Elect Nominee Chris Sotiropoulos, and President Reg Smith are inviting a self-selected group of members to join a discussion on our next steps: a visioning workshop to help shape our real-world impact.  

Hosted by Rotary Melbourne member Richard Dent this intense and energising afternoon is intended to mobilise, evolve and impact: to bring out our best as People of Action in an evolving world.

Our aim is to:

1. Deepen our understanding of emerging and future trends - provoked by Big Ideas from expert input from recognised, future-oriented thought leaders; 
2. Brainstorm in small break out groups priority community needs and possible project responses; and
3. Create at least four Big Idea Action Themes, with champions and supporters for ongoing Club involvement and real-world impact.

We look forward to a stimulating and highly interactive discussion on the next iconic projects our club should create.
