The Malvern Group enjoyed a wonderful early “Christmas” meeting at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on Monday 29th November.
There were 28 members and partners with a warm welcome to our newest member (in waiting) and who needs no introduction, Sue Smith.
David Carruthers entertained us with a very amusing story about Australian newspapers with a profile of their readers. Lots of laughs with the various national and State newsprint.
After a fragmented COVID year with 5 fireside meetings and 2 zoom meetings, it was a special evening of fellowship and members enjoyed the opportunity to catch up.
Lets hope 2022 will be a better year.
