PHF from Pres Mev in 2006
I have sad news to relay of the peaceful passing of former distinguished member Bill Charlton on Monday evening.
Bill was our Club Treasurer and the leader in the restructure of the Administration of our Financial accounts. For his efforts he was recognised by President Mev Connell in 2006 as a Paul Harris Fellow.
He had a great interest in John Monash and was a member of the 0808committee visited the RC Amiens on behalf of the Club. Both Bill and his wife Beverley were active in the Canterbury – Waverley fellowship group serving as captains.
In June 2017 they moved to WA to be closer to Beverley’s family. Bill joined the RC Perth and subsequently resigned RC Melbourne June 2018.
