Members are invited to join the Club’s Reception or Lunch Setup teams which are responsible for in-person meeting ambiance including setup and greeting arriving members and guests. Whether you are an experienced Rotarian or new to the Club it's a fun and efficient way to volunteer whilst attending the in person meetings. It is also a good way to meet and learn people’s names. There is a Roster and you can do as much or as little as your time permits.
Reception is not a big commitment and is mostly a social activity with some responsibility for checking everyone in and making sure they have all paid.
Setup Teams arrive and setup the AV equipment and pack-down after lunch.
You would need to arrive early at least by 12.30pm ready to perform. Drinking and chatting on the job is encouraged!
