The Kick-Start Your Career program is designed to help young people who live in the Hume area to gain employment through 

• 5 weeks job readiness training, followed by
• 4 weeks paid internships - starting 11 April - 6 May

The program allows participants to

• find local work experience to get their foot in the door
• boost their ability to have the right networks 
• find ongoing support before, during and after the internship
• increase their confidence and become job ready for independent job search

The Job readiness training, (location and time TBC)
Day 1 – understating your resume on 1^st of March
Day 2 – cover letter writing on 8^th of March
Day 3 – interview skills on 15^th of March
Day 4 – work rights and entitlements on 22^nd of March
Day 5 – Australia workplace culture on 28^th of March

It would be great to know if any Rotary Melbourne members would be keen to host a young person for their paid internships. Locations in Northern suburbs and CBD preferred.
