JO MAVROS
During 15 years of exemplary service, Jo Mavros has regularly gone above and beyond the call of duty in her work for the Club, epitomising the Rotary motto of ‘Service above Self’.
Her wisdom, thoroughness and dedication has served 15 Presidents over 15 years and has left many reflecting on how they would have survived their year of Club leadership without her.
A joy for all to work with, Jo is always calm and composed, especially when things are changing and moving fast. Jo makes members and guests feel welcome and special and provides wonderful service and support at the individual level.
She is as passionate about Rotary as any of the members she serves.
No challenge is too large for Jo, as she demonstrated so effectively in helping Rotary Melbourne pivot to the on-line meeting format that became Rotary Melbourne’s mainstay through two years of Covid restrictions.
On behalf of all Rotary Melbourne members, we commend Jo Mavros for her exceptional service to the Club.
