In a skilfully conducted interview at the podium, Brendon demonstrated the importance of diversity equity and inclusion in sporting competitions anchored in their community. Commitment to patience, respect, care for each other, service and integrity have underpinned Richmond's development of meaningful dialogue and cooperation with Aboriginal people in the local Victorian community. This has been illustrated in the partnership with the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) and many other community initiatives. The Richmond club journey can be summed up with the catch-phrase “Many Cultures, One Tiger Army”.
With Ian Hamm’s prompting, Brendon delivered a presentation that was one of the most impactful this Rotary year.
