Visiting Rotarian Reg Hutchinson, Rotary Adelaide, was invited to the podium for the exchange of Club banners, following which Reg H. presented a historical brass plaque which a member of the public, resident in the Adelaide Hills, had found in the garage. The plaque honoured Angus Mitchell and Rotary Adelaide had decided, in turn, to present the plaque to Rotary Melbourne, which had Chartered Rotary Adelaide nearly 100 years ago. President Reg thanked Reg Hutchinson for this generous gesture and foreshadowed that it will be found an appropriate permanent home, most likely in Melbourne Rotary Park which is adjacent to the Royal Botanical Gardens.
