Everyone who's been to the RIMERN warehouse has seen Ros McMaster in action, quietly organizing, leading, picking orders, making things hum. This is an opportunity for you to vote for Ros in the Westfield Local Heroes Awards (& the $20,000 first prize for the sponsoring organization!) we nominated Ros in the Westfield Airport West Local Heroes awards and recognition program for making a positive impact to our local community for the work she does with RIMERN. Every Westfield centre has it's own award and Airport West was the closest centre to East Brunswick, so all 3 finalists represent charities in the local area.
We are so excited to advise that after a rigorous assessment process, Westfield have selected Ros to progress to the community voting stage! She is one of 3 finalists, so even if she doesn't win the major award she has earned us $5,000 already, but with your support we hope to take out the $20,000!
The public voting for Westfield Local Heroes opens today, 2 August, giving us the chance to promote the voting link on all our Rotary and personal social media. Ask everyone to please to take out their phone & vote.
