Reflection by Robert Fisher 5 October 22

As volunteers, we know how our Rotary work provides a healthy boost to our self-esteem and life satisfaction. Doing good for others and the community delivers a sense of pride, identity and accomplishment.

Our guest speaker and Vocational Service Awardee today has spent decades creating opportunities for people in need of affordable housing. His belief is that ‘housing for all’ underpins Australia’s prospects for long term economic growth. How true.

Let us be thankful for the homes and families we come from, and may we always be seeking to support those less fortunate than ourselves in whatever ways we can.

For good food and friendships in Rotary, we give thanks.
