It was announced yesterday in the centre of the Rotary universe i.e. Evanston, USA, that PDG Denis Shore of R.C.Hawthorn will be appointed a Trustee of The Rotary Foundation for a 4 year term.
This is a wonderful tribute to Denis’ work for the Foundation over many years and for many aspects of its endeavours. He has been generously supportive of our Club’s work with the Foundation.
Rotary Victoria is well represented internationally on the Rotary Scene as Ian Riseley of Sandringham is Chair of the Trustees, Jessie Harman from Wendouree is a Director of Rotary International and of course Melbourne is host to the next International Convention.
