As many Australians and people across our region and the world are suffering the effects of floods, drought and war, let us be thankful for the Rotary Foundation, which we will hear more about today, for the great work it achieves relieving the suffering and loss caused by these natural disasters and wars. Let us also be thankful that we are safe and dry and able to meet here to share good fellowship and good food.
Let us be grateful and thankful for what we have.
