27 for Parkinson’s Appeal: Spring into Summer Art Show

Stephen Lake asks you to join him this year in raising funds for Parkinson's Victoria "27 for Parkinson's" campaign.

Last year a number of Rotary Melbourne members supported Stephen in this worthwhile cause by learning 27 tunes on the bagpipes during October.  This year he is organising a 'Spring into Summer Art Show'.

This year Stephen approached Fight Parkinson’s CEO Emma Colin, and proposed an Online Art Show running on his Company’s (Gallery 247) Art Show Platform. Emma was delighted with the initiative, and Stephen has been working with Joshua Donchi, their Fundraising Manager and Charlotte Hutchins, their Marketing Manager to make this happen.

The Art Show is called “Spring into Summer”: https://springintosummerartshow.com.au commencing 30 November until 22 December 22.

The Art Show website is live, and we are currently accepting Artwork submissions.

We have an online opening at 5 pm on Wednesday 30 November, where we will announce the winning artists and open sales until Thursday 22 December 2022.

100% of profits will be donated to Fight Parkinson’s and for them it is a risk free proposition.

Donations direct to Fight Parkinson’s are tax deductable.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects people from all walks of life. It is quite common, with approximately 219,000 Australians and 57,000 Victorians living with Parkinson’s.
