Rotary International PEACE fellowships: 90 scholarships now available for fully-funded post graduate university training in peace building and conflict resolution. Leaders from anyone in the world with work experience in peace and development are eligible to apply. Successful candidates from Australia will study in England, Japan, Sweden, Uganda or USA.
Rotary Peace Fellows become leaders and catalysts for peace and conflict resolution and typically go on to work in national governments, NGOs, the military, law enforcement, peace education, media, and grass roots community organisations.
There are two streams of Peace Fellowships:
1. Master's degree programs: The ideal candidate is academically strong, has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and has work experience in peace and development. Visit https://www.rotary.org/en/our-programs/peace-fellowships-masters-degree-programs for more info.
2. Professional development certificate program: The ideal candidate is a proven mid-career peace and development leader with at least five years of relevant work experience. Visit https://www.rotary.org/en/our-programs/peace-fellowships-certificate-program for more info.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, course materials, room & board, round-trip transportation, internship/field work expenses; and insurance
These opportunities are funded by Rotary International. Applications supported by District 9800 Clubs close: Wednesday 15 May 2024. However, the sooner Rotary Melbourne can identify a candidate to sponsor, we can develop them and their application together. We would appreciate identifying potential candidates by Monday 15 April 24.
