Rotary Melbourne 2025 Young Achievers Award Lunch

For 33 years, the Rotary Melbourne has conferred Young Achiever Awards to high achieving young people to encourage their career development and endorse their commitment to community service. In our current social media age of ‘selfies’ and ‘self-centeredness’, all the participants in this year’s Young Achiever Award program deserve sincere commendation. However, we can only give three Young Achiever Awards each year.

We encourage you to join our Young Achiever Award Lunch on Wednesday 23 July 25 at No 35 Restaurant, Sofitel Melbourne on Collins Melbourne, where the Governor of Victoria, Prof. The Hon. Margaret Gardner,AC, will present the Awards to three impressive young people whose stories will impress. Two of the Awardees, Billy Chen and Mursal Rezai, have been involved with the Western Chances organisation and are currently completing their undergraduate degrees while also undertaking leadership roles in a variety of community programs. The other Awardee, Pailene Lim, is completing a PhD in Immunology and Vaccine development while working at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and makes time for community service.

This 33rd year of the Rotary Melbourne Young Achiever Awards promises to uphold the rich heritage of Alumni of the program.
