INVITATION: 2026 Harmony Week – 10 Hour Walking Football Game

Friday, 20 March 2026 | 7:00am – 5:00pm

JL Murphy Reserve Synthetic Pitch

Off Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne

On behalf of Walking Football 4 Health Victoria and the Soccer for Peace Foundation, we are delighted to warmly invite you, your Rotary members, and Friends of Rotary to attend and support the 2026 Harmony Week – 10 Hour Walking Football Game, a landmark multicultural sporting and community celebration taking place during Harmony Week in Melbourne.

Harmony Week celebrates Australia’s rich multicultural identity and promotes inclusiveness, respect, and a strong sense of belonging for all — values that closely align with Rotary’s commitment to service, peacebuilding, fellowship, and community connection.

We warmly invite Rotary members to join us in solidarity — whether by attending as supporters, enjoying fellowship with the community, or stepping onto the pitch for just a few symbolic minutes to gently walk and kick the football in unity.

This is not about playing for 10 hours.
It is about standing together to demonstrate that everyone belongs this Harmony Week — and to “Walk and Play for the Love of the Kids.”

The event will bring together Rotary members, families, Friends of Rotary, community members, seniors, and many others in a spirit of unity, harmony, and service.
