My name is Harry Dempsey and I am the Secretary of the District 9800 Australian Rotary Health (ARH) Committee. I am reaching out to seek your support for Australian Rotary Health (ARH). Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of Australians through research, awareness, and education, and we need your help to continue making a difference.
ARH Donations
Firstly, I would like to ask if your club could contribute any spare fundraising money you might have to ARH:
Additionally, you may wish to contribute in the following ways:
- Indigenous Health Scholarships
- Rural Medical or Nursing Scholarships
- Donate $100 to ARH on behalf of all your speakers. This is a simple and equitable way of rewarding the speakers for their time
You can also earn the following titles:
- Individuals who donate $100 or more become a friend of ARH
- Groups who donate $2500 or more become a companion of ARH
Even a small contribution can have a significant impact on the health projects and research initiatives we support.
ARH Speaker Opportunity
Secondly, we are looking for opportunities to raise awareness about ARH and its initiatives within the Rotary community. It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide speaker slots for ARH representatives during your meetings. These sessions can help raise mental health awareness and educate members on the vital work ARH is doing.
D9800 ARH committee
Thirdly, we are seeking to expand the D9800 ARH committee and need at least one member from each of the new Community Groups. If you or someone in your club has a passion for health and, in particular, raising the awareness of mental health, we would love to have them join our committee. We meet monthly via Zoom and their involvement would be warmly welcomed.
