Lesley McCarthy, Donations in Kind, is asking for Rotary Melbourne's assistance with a couple of different projects, including an Indigenous Op Shop Project and collecting tools to assist with the recent bush fires in Victoria.
1, Would your club be interested in contributing to an Indigenous Op Shop Project? $500 per club is all it will take to transport a large quantity of goods suitable for sale in a remote community.
Please rsvp to Colleen or Stuart McIntyre at RC Brighton.
2. DiK is collecting tools: wheelbarrows, shovels, rakes, hammers, blowers, forks, gardening and fencing equipment, electrical leads and other items suitable to help the bushfire affected communities clean up and regain their lives.
An example of what has been collected is shown in the image above.
Items can be delivered to DiK on Tuesday and Thursday between 10-3.
