We have received this update on current service of our first Interactive Water Trailer - built in 2018 for service in APY Lands, SA as part of our Rotary Melbourne EndTrachoma R100 initiative.
We are delighted it is still in use with communities in WA including Blackstone, Wingellina, and Jameson ( see map above).

Youth worker Michelle Torrens works with Ngaanyatjarra, Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara Women’s Council (NPYWC). The map above is the area in which they work.
Michelle has taken the Water Trailer from Blackstone to Wingellina and has plans to go to Jameson soon. Wingellina community loved the trailer. Michelle will incorporate hygiene health promotion and send on Milpa’s Six Steps to Stop Germs Augmented Reality App information to all the NPYWC youth team for us.

It’s fantastic to see the Trailer in good hands and being used in remote communities for community health promotion again as intended.
