Yidan inducted as FIFA Women’s World Cup 23 Community Champion

The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Multicultural Community Engagement program was launched in Sydney on Wednesday 29 March 23. Rotary Melbourne member Yidan Xi was delighted to be invited and inducted as one of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 Community Champions (a big celebration with 150 Community Champions across 30 communities).  

The FIFA Women's World Cup will kick off in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand in July this year. It’s the first one in Southern Hemisphere and first one hosted by two countries (Australia & New Zealand), 32 nations will compete in the Women's World Cup for the first time.

32 teams will compete across 9 host cities.
