Meet a New Member - Caroline Pilot

Caroline Pilot was inducted on 22 April 2026 with the classification “Public HealthPolicy & Advocacy” by her sponsor Marg Leser and will join the Malvern Group.

Caroline was born in England and migrated to Australia at the age of eight. She was raised in Brisbane and educated at Kenmore High School, before undertaking her nursing training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Caroline’s professional career spans clinical care, the pharmaceutical industry and public health. She has held senior roles across a number of leading organisations including Pfizer, Novartis, Novo Nordisk and CSL Behring, with a focus on immunisation, chronic disease, and patient-centred care. In recent years, her work has centred on public health policy, strategy, and consumer advocacy.

In 2024, Caroline established her own consultancy, Bridge Health Solutions, focused on driving system-level change in health policy and access to care, and strengthening collaboration across sectors with a strong emphasis on consumer input.

Caroline has worked with the Australian Health Policy Collaboration at Victoria University and was a co-author on national health publications including Getting Australia’s Health on Track and Enhancing Primary Care for Healthy Ageing. These initiatives aim to reduce preventable illness, address inequities in life expectancy, and support healthier ageing outcomes. She is also currently completing a Master of Public Health and is writing a book focused on healthy ageing.

Caroline moved from Sydney to Melbourne four years ago. She has two sons, Jean-Luc and Remy, and a granddaughter, Frankie. Her personal interests include hiking, travel, and cooking.

Caroline is keen to contribute her professional skills to Rotary Melbourne while building connections within the Club and the broader community.

Caroline will be a member of the Malvern Group. Her mentor in the Club will be Past President Reg Smith, and she will be known in the Club as Caroline.
