This week's reflection, delivered by PDG Adrian on behalf of Ruth Carlos-Martinez, draws on a timely message from the District 9800 Club Leadership Seminar: as Rotary faces the prospect of district mergers, its greatest asset has never been its history or its global reach — it has always been its people. Ruth finds her inspiration in the legacy of Reverend the Honourable Peter Hollingsworth, whose lifelong dedication to Indigenous Australians, the homeless, the unemployed and refugees embodies what Rotary is called to be. His example, she reminds us, is a living definition of the incoming Rotary theme for 2027 — Create Lasting Impact.
