At the Rotary Melbourne meeting on Wednesday 24 April 24 it was the 8th Thomas Baker Oration and the Orator was Dr Doug Hilton AO, CSIRO CEO, speaking on the topic 'If science is to save us'.
Rotarians Peter Rogers and Tony Battaini attended the WHO summit, held in Melbourne from 22 to 24 April, as guests of Monash University. The event drew over 1,200 delegates, including most of Asia Pacific’s leaders in public health policy and practice.
