Mama Veronica is one of the Co-founders of the Empowering African Mothers: UBUNTU in Practice Program, developed by Afri-Aus Care. Veronica’s job requires a car, however she is limited financially as the money she makes from her job is only enough to pay her mortgage and support her younger children.
It is with much sadness that WEHI announce the passing of Lady Lyn Nossal, wife of Sir Gustav Nossal (WEHI director 1965–1996) and Honorary Rotary Melbourne member, who passed away peacefully last Friday morning, at the age of 89.

He was Head of Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) and Head of the Department of Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine at the Alfred Medical Research Precinct from 1986 to 2019.
