This month the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group (ESRAG) newsletter ESRAG October 2023 Volume 8 Issue 4 features an article titled 'Rotary's top leaders to attend COP 28'. For the first time, Rotary will have a pavilion and programing in the Blue Zone at this year’s UN Climate Conference – COP 28 - which will take place in Dubai from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12. Rotary’s senior leaders will attend with a significantly expanded delegation including four ESRAG members. The Conference of the Parties (COP) is convened by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

To celebrate our historic 5000th Club Meeting on 30th August 2023, Rotary Melbourne has launched its 5000 Acts of Kindness project.

Rotary Melbourne celebrated its 5000th club meeting on Wednesday 30th August 2023 by holding the 53rd annual Angus Mitchell Oration with special guest speaker, former Prime Minister, the Hon John Howard, with approximately 300 in attendance in the Grand Ballroom of the Sofitel on Collins, Melbourne.
On 24th August 1923, members of the Rotary Club of Melbourne set up a meeting of prominent South Australians to form the Rotary Club of Adelaide. Past President Adrian flew to Adelaide last week to celebrate their centenary with them at the iconic Adelaide Oval.
