Rotary Melbourne is proud to share that Amanda Wendt recently returned from the Global Philanthropy Seminar in Chicago, where she joined Rotary leaders from across the globe in exploring how bold, collaborative strategies can drive meaningful and lasting change.
The seminar provided an exceptional platform for the exchange of ideas, drawing on diverse cultural perspectives and shared experiences in leadership. Amanda reflected on how these global conversations reinforced the strength of the Rotary network - not only through the impact we make, but also through the way we work together to achieve it.
The event also offered a valuable opportunity to reconnect with long-standing colleagues and forge new relationships with like-minded peers, all equally committed to Rotary’s mission of service and global impact.
Rotary Melbourne extends its congratulations to Amanda on her recent appointment as End Polio Now Coordinator for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. With polio eradication remaining one of the most critical global health goals of our time, we are inspired by Amanda’s commitment to seeing this mission through.
We look forward to supporting Amanda in this role as she continues to represent our club and region on the global stage.
