During his recent business trip to Athens, Greece Rotary Melbourne member Dr Dimitrios Salampasis had the great pleasure of attending an event organized by the Rotary Club of Athens (Athinai) featuring a keynote presentation by the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Mr. Nikos Papathanasis.
During the event Dimitrios had the honor of exchanging flags with the President on behalf of Rotary Melbourne, a symbolic gesture that celebrates the deep cultural connections, shared values, longstanding bonds and enduring friendship between Greece and Australia. This ceremonial exchange not only reinforces the strong partnership between our clubs, but also reflects the broader commitment of Greece and Australia to fostering collaboration, goodwill, and mutual respect.
