RIMERN Volunteering Opportunity 1st Monday of month

Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network (RIMERN) a warehouse in Brunswick needs more volunteers on the first Monday of each month for the Rotary Melbourne's volunteering day.  Volunterring involves collecting, storing, sorting and delivering household goods for rehomed refugees, family violence victims and homeless.

If you are available please contact John Peberdy  jpeberdy@bigpond.net.au

RIMERN provides material aid to help furnish homes, we provide this service through our network of support Welfare Agencies.

RIMERN is a Rotary community service and environment project of 22 Melbourne Rotary Clubs, modelled on Eastern Emergency Relief Network (EERN) in Mitcham and Western Emergency Relief Network (WERN) in Ravenhall.

Like EERN & WERN, RIMERN collects donated furniture, appliances and homewares at their East Brunswick warehouse. We ensure that they are clean, working and safe, then make them available to clients referred by member welfare agencies and programs as they are being assisted into secure housing after a range of crises. RIMERN supplies 8 – 10 full house lots of homewares every week.
