At last week’s meeting President Reg spotlighted Peter’s 22 years service to Rotary.
Melbourne Rotary welcomed and inducted Cameron Glover, Interplast, into the Club on 23 June 2021. The Rotary Club of Melbourne is Cameron’s first formal involvement with Rotary, although he is a regular speaker at clubs across Australia and New Zealand in his professional capacity and in prior voluntary positions.
Melbourne Rotary welcomed and inducted Sana Malik, Australian Financial Complaints Authority, into the Club on 23 June 2021,with the classification Law - Insurance. Outside of Rotary, health and wellness are a priority to Sana, and in her personal time, she enjoys Pilates, nature walks and reading.
Glenda Hambly, producer, writer and director of Homeland Story, produced by RCM, thought Rotarians might like to read a review of Homeland Story that was published in The Age on 19 July 2021.
The film screened on NITV again on 24 July and is currently screening on SBS on Demand until August 26.

There were so many fantastic achievements, updates and moments at last week's VP Reporting Day Meeting. It is with great sadness, that we have learnt that our Past President Jack Melbourne (1999-00) has died. There will be a Rotary Melbourne notice from President Marion in The Age and for those who would like to attend Jack's funeral. It will be held 10.30am at Christ Church (Corner Of Toorak & Punt Roads) on Thursday, 1 July.

Last week, Editor attended the newly formed Rotary Southbank CEO Satellite Club. Seven new members were inducted at 7.00 am using a hybrid fomat, at Hyatt Place, Essendon Fields.
Robert Fisher who is a major supporter to Afri-Aus Care, has received appeal from Selba Gondoza Luka, CEO at Afri-Aus Care, for office chairs that one of our members might be able to access, surplus to requirements. Jo Mavros has shared the heartfelt appreciation from Naomi and George Tippett's family after the recent death of George. Anyone who had the privilege to meet George would have had the highest regard for this wonderful man.
Our President Marion co-chaired and was a highlight of DG Philip Archer's Last Morning Tea. The 2 hour event had everything from fun, raffle online, great music and singing, Project updates and masses of fellowship.
